Handle your Blobb Lava Lamp gently from the moment you unbox it. Set the base on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or wobbly shelves, and make sure the power cord sits comfortably without tension. Keep the bottle upright as you place it into the base. Avoid shaking or tilting at any stage, it is important that the wax needs to stay settled before heating.

During transport, the lamp may have been jostled, so it’s normal for the liquid to appear slightly unclear when first unpacked. After a few warm-up cycles, the clarity often improves as the wax and liquid settle naturally. Once the lamp is switched on, the wax may take 45 minutes or longer to melt and begin flowing, especially on first use.

Avoid moving or shaking the lamp while it’s warming or when the wax is not fully solid. Disturbing the contents during this stage can permanently disrupt the flow and cloud the liquid. Over time, the liquid may also turn less clear due to natural reactions inside the lamp, this is expected and cannot be considered a fault.
